I'm Jeremy (K4OCD) here to welcome you to our site! Born in VT, I moved to Florida when I was 12 and grew up in Jupiter where I met my wife Karen. We later moved to Stuart where we have lived since 1993. |

|
Originally amateur radio was Karen's hobby that I took interest in, so in 2004 I decided to get my Technician class license, in May of 2005 I upgraded to Technician w/ HF by passing the 5 WPM Morse code exam and in September 2005 I upgraded to General class. On August 22, 2007 I upgraded to Amateur Extra after reviewing the course material the afternoon of the exam. Unlike, Karen who took all 4 elements in one exam session, I spread it over 3 years. |

I really like working with people, especially new hams as they study to take their Technician license test. It's rewarding to be able to answer all the same questions I had not that long ago. It's called "Elmering" and it's a lot of fun! Take a new ham under your wing and get them on the air! |
